Haggart is 6'0" 200. I watched him play about five times and he was impressive everytime. Very good athlete, has real good head for the game and hits hard. Three year starter for Sayville.

MSG Varsity reported that Stony Brook has officially offered Tyler Fredericks 6'1" 215 rb/wr/db from Lawrence HS. He is a 4 yr starter and a must get for Stony Brook. As a jr in 2011 he earned all county / all L.I. and all state class A, he also ran for 1,611 with 24 rec for 596 and 29 total tds in 12 gms. So far in 2012 he has rushed for 540 yds 8 tds in 4 gms ( i couldn't find his rec stats ). If someone can upload his youtube video cause I'm not good with that stuff, you will see for yourself. I watched a few of his gms and this kid can play, real deal. He is also fielding offers from James Madison and Buffalo. Check him out and let me know what you think.

Sounds like another good get, if we get him. Still need a QB who can throw , a RB (Jamie  Williams ?) at least two WR's . The O line stays together  in 2013 .  But a good QB is going to be a must pickup.

I'm sure they will get a juco transfer qb. We did get quite a few OL in last years class. Don't sleep on soph RB Devon Lawrence, would have been 2nd back this year if Coker didn't come in. He had a very impressive HS career and has produced when called upon.

I wonder where the coaching see Fredericks playing. It looks like he could potentially play several positions.

Just heard from source close to program that 2012 Newfield grad LB Ron Denig 5' 11" 220 is looking to walk on next year. He went to prep school this fall at Millford Academy. He was all L.I. and all metro as a senior also won LI championship. Saw him play several times and he is a real bulldog, throwback type of player. Was voted suffolk top linebacker as well.

Not technically a 2013 recruit but I just noticed Temple transfer Malcolm Eugene is currently on the Stony Brook roster. It looks like he's redshirting this fall and will use his last season of eligibility in 2013
