does anyone know what the chances are of Ruben Johnson getting an additional year of eligibility after he blew his knee out at Buffalo?  he is a great player.  but he has a long rehab in front of him, for MAYBE one more year of football.

Reuben Johnson needs to be granted a medical waiver to be able to play next year. It would be his sixth year of eligibility if he is granted one. It would be the same as Chris Fenelon last year being granted that sixth yr. Coker would only be applying for the 5th yr so that should not be an issue.

yes, I heard that Coker was just going to use his redshirt year for this season, since he still had that available to use.

I guess last week's loss was a real buzz kill.  This board has gone very quiet.  Let's get a big crowd out to Lavalle for our home opener on Saturday.  Go Wolves!!

I hate to be the one sounding the alarm but this is a MUST win for the Brooks if there's any hope for a playoff run. 1 and 3 in the CAA is a disaster !

Damn... I don't think is a must win. is the second ranked team in the nation so I its not like everyone is expecting us to win. New Hampshire, @Maine, Richmond, Albany will probably determine our fate

Think back to 2011 (started 0-3 which included a loss to Brown) and we were still able to make the playoffs. I think we still have a good shot. We just gotta turn the season around in the next couple of weeks.

I'll be there as well, and I'm betting the Seawolves will be treemendously up and prepared for this one.  I know there are a lot of negative vibes out there after what happened last week, but let's be positive.  Just think what the outlook might be like if SBU crushes Towson--a real wakeup call to the CAA: Just sayin'

What will the attendance be like saturday? Hopefully the students get into the stadium despite the late home opener. Lets go wolves!

This game will not break the season if we lose but it will be a major feather in our cap if we pull out a win. You are only as good as your last game so let's not assume this is a walk over for Towson. SB should be hyped to be at home and Priore has found a way all these years to make adjustments and have the team respond after a couple of loses. SB is not an upstart program anymore so we have to expect good football to be played with young guy's stepping up.
