Also, no one has commented on the excitement of having the wolves on SNY in the new york region. it seems like yesterday that I used to watch every Connecticut game on SNY wishing for the day that it would be the Seawolves that made it into SNY. Well... here it goes. UConn was dropped by SNY after last season, and here we got the Seawolves and Villanova on SNY at least for one game... for now. Things change quickly in the College football landscape

lets put it this way: with the Jets and Giants looking like turkeys this year, its an oportune year for SB to grab some football headlines.

also, I upgraded my cable package so I can get SportsNet NY out on the west coast.  will enjoy game this weekend on TV instead of on ESPN3

I think Monday is when Rankings come out for the FCS.. Do we have an idea if SB will go up or down this week ?.. I say we improve one spot..

Toot, Toot. I had a feeling the Brooks were going to move up even though we lost on saturday. Had we won, we probably would have moved up 6 spots !!! Lets get a win over Villanova and get closer to single digits !!

I am so happy Miguel got signed with the Colts. Lets hope he can stay there a little longer this time !!!

The Colts worked out rookie running back Miguel Maysonet last Tuesday.

Six days later, they added the former Eagles and Browns back to their practice squad.

The Colts announced the signing of Maysonet, an undrafted free agent from Stony Brook University, on Monday.

Maysonet, 23, rushed for 30 yards on 13 carries with Cleveland in the preseason. He also caught three passes for 14 yards. The Browns waived him on August 30, one day after their exhibition finale against Chicago.

Maysonet is the lone running back on the Colts’ practice squad. The club promoted rookie Kerwynn Williams from the practice squad to the roster late last week after Vick Ballard suffered a season-ending ACL injury.

DL Dimitry Russ is back, Coxsen is listed on depth chart so it seems that he is healthy. If you didn't notice there are 5 true freshman on the depth chart. RB Tyler Fredericks, DL Ousane Camara, DL Allen Singleton, DB Marvin Hart, DB Quinton Littlejohn. There is no Coker on the chart, that is not good.

I think DB Jaheem Woods will do well, he was highly rated coming out of New Jersey. Depending on what the deal is with Coker and how long I would like to see what the freshman Fredericks has. He is already beefed up to 235 pds. Something tells me that he has more to offer than Poteat.

Coker is back on the depth chart, so no worries there.  not sure why we should focus on depth chart.  even if Coker was not playing this weekend, would the coaching staff really reveal that to Nova, so that they could alter their game plan.  that would make no sense to me.  for example, did we know Buffalo's RB Oliver was not going to play ahead of game time?
