I expect Essington to have a fabulous year at QB. The defense will be keying in on the run, which will open up short slant passes for him.

He 's got three stud wide receivers to throw to in Gush, Norel and Coxson and dont overlook Maysonet and Arce .   I expect a high flying team come September.

Saw the red/white scrimmage today at Sachem H.S. and they do have alot of weapons. First off the size of some of these guys is impressive, Coker is a big dude. I saw Coxsen catch a short pass and turn it in to a long gain with his speed. Essington and Negron looked sharp. Dudley, Franklin, and Mulrooney are big hitting LB's and watch out for Hauter on the DL, soph from William Floyd. Myles Campbell looks like he's ready to contribute at WR. Also Soph RB Davon Lawrence broke a long TD run on the first play from scrimmage, he has break away speed and could step in if needed. Was legit in High school. The cubbard appears to be full.

Three weeks and counting. We should easily  be 2-0 going into the Syracuse game.

Coastal Carolina vs Stony Brook, Presbyterian vs Stony Brook both to be online at ESPN3. Thats four games to be on TV/Online.

1 on SNY
1 on CBSSN
2 on ESPN3

I believe the Liberty game will be simulcasted on Flames Sports Network/ESPN3/Big South Network just like last year.

Any word on how the defensive line is shaping up? Is Kabongo ready to contribute? Are any of the redshirts looking at starting positions?

Starting the season ranked 9th is sweet for sure. Worst case we finish 9-2 and sweep the Big South again in our final season.

I think this FB season has the potential to be as exciting as baseball was. SW97, I think the worst case is more like 8-3. We play Liberty in Lynchburg this year, and the Flames could steal a win on their home turf. Of course Army and Syracuse (especially) are a toss up. Best case I see a 10-1 season. Time will tell, but I think a post-season appearance is almost guaranteed.

As much as I'm a Seawolf fan, this has got to be a joke or based on inaccurate information. #22? Usually filled to capacity? I don't get it, but at least the publicity is good.
