On my Twitter Account Julius Wingate is getting lots of attention as a potential draft pick as the scouts love his size, speed, wing span. As of this moment at least 8 teams are in on him. I know we hear this every year but the fact that he's healthy heading into the draft don't be surprised if he becomes SBU's 1st draft pick.

That would be lovely. Though out of all the potential first draft picks... Maysonett, Bamiro, Tye, Ochi, Parris, etc. to have Julius go first would be a bit surprising, but I wouldn't be complaining. I'll keep an eye on the picks come Saturday afternoon.

Wingate was at a disadvantage at SB. If he had a good passing QB throwing to him, he would have had bigger stats and wouldn’t be under the radar.

Definitely. And NFL teams know this, but that lack of production will still be a concern for them.

AS long as coach P continues to be SB HC the issue of no NFL drafts will continue. His lack of big-time coaching skills will plague this university for years to come. So be it. If SH and President Stanley are comfortable with being a no name football team, thats fine with me. Go Clemson Tigers!!

As of now, there 6 SB football either UDFA or mini camp invite.

 Julious Wingate

 Marshal Ellick

 Donald Liotine

 Cal Denials

 Gowins

Working on trying to find the 6th invite.

Gowins with the Giants probably has the best shot to making the Practise Squad team.

13 Seawolves invited to an NFL camp. That has to be a record. How many will stick!

Fwiw, there’s virtually no difference in quality between an UDFA and a selection in rounds 6-7.  And an UDFA has made the New England Patriots 53 man roster (which doesn’t include the practice squad) 15 years in a row.

The day will come, but not quite yet. I expect Heilbron to go, but not until a fairly decent job out west opens up.

What I find funny is that out of all the major coaches, AD, President, etc., Priore is the only one to not get poached by a higher profile school yet  ;D.

Remember Michigan State is in a mess so whoever gets the the AD job and turns it around can right their own ticket
