NYstateofmind, your comments are great ones. our coaches just don't want to run those types of routes with our receivers. I think our TE patterns have been very successful, we have a few big gainers this season, but they don't run those enough. for more on TE pass routes, maybe DDMD can add some clarity. Overall, I don't think its the receivers running the wrong routes, its the limited number of routes that the receivers run, and that is not the QB fault, rather the play calling. how many times can they run that short route to Boulden? over and over, right? I am sure the team would love to run more sophisticated double move routes, or whatever, but then it comes back to the play calling. and we need pass protection to run deeper routes.
