There are 32 NFL Teams and all 32 were on campus throughout the whole season and all 32 showed up for Pro Day
It was plain and simple if Paris was healthy he would have been drafted ahead of Senat from Wagner also when you get drafted in each round has slotted amount of dollars when you sign like Paris did there is no slotted amount so in some cases your better off being a FA especially if you get drafted in the later rounds
As far as the coaches influence on players getting drafted when Joe Gardi ran the Hofstra program he was a Pro guy and most of his players went the FA route to the NFL only a couple I believe were drafted and he coached for at least 9 years
As far as Coaches go the last 6 or so assistant coaches that left went to an FBS Program for a better position and these schools include Notre Dame, Army, Penn State, Ohio State, Miami Fla., Wake Forest
