update on reyes: https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/ex-ufc-middleweight-champ-chris-weidman-to-make-light-heavyweight-debut-vs-dominick-reyes/

Quote
Reyes (11-0), the No. 4-ranked light heavyweight contender, presents an interesting opposition for the former 185-pound champion, to say the least. He's gone 6-0 since making his UFC debut in 2017, and has quickly become a fan-favorite as a potential 205-pound title challenger to Jon Jones sooner rather than later. Reyes' most recent victory came over former light heavyweight title challenger Volkan Oezdemir in London back in March by way of split decision.

Timon Parris is playing well for the Redskins. There's some buzz about him around town.

Just wondering. Does anyone know what happened to Senior, TE, Tyrone  Wheatley. Remember the transfer from Michigan. He didnt do much last season for us but did look promising. He was a Junior when he came to SB. He is not on this year Roster...

Somewhat unrelated but Lyle Hemphill's efforts as a DC has helped lead Wake Forest to a 5-0 record, and #20 ranking in the FBS Coaches Poll. That man can coach defense and I wouldn't be at all shocked if he ends up getting considered for some of these FBS openings that we'll see this off-season. The Rutgers job is already open and more will open over the course of the season.

here's a guy on the radar- perhaps for two sports: https://theprovince.com/sports/high-school/steve-ewen-mcdonald-loves-his-football-lacrosse-but-is-playing-both-realistic

Quote
And we can further cloud the discussion here. McDonald admits there have been NCAA schools that have toyed with the idea of him playing both sports. The Delta Optmist listed the schools as Delaware and Stony Brook in a feature story earlier this season.

Stony Brook, for instance, wraps its football schedule in November. Its first field lacrosse game would be sometime in February.

McDonald admits the premise of being on two teams is “appealing,” but also contends that “it would be a lot,” at the university level.

McDonald says he’ll likely decide on where he’s going to attend university in December, after the football season is completed. For now, the focus will be on getting the Sun Devils on a Subway Bowl playoff run at the very least.

We already have our scholarship QB Drew Guttieri for the 2020 class I cannot see SBU bringing in a 2nd one unless it’s a walk-on

That could change if a better QB shows interest in SB!

WOW!!! I knew SB would move up in the polls, but #14 from NR is impressive.
