Big man carbone will be the starter if he stays healthy; they might use a 2 QB rotation if he cannot correct 2 blaring issues.

1. When rolling left or right he has a hard time throwing the ball to the opposite side of the field; improve footwork.
2. Forcing throw into his 1st read; got to be quicker in making 2nd & 3rd read & if  in doubt run or throw the ball away. To many pics last season 5 in 1 game alone.

he has several good healthy weapons on the field this season.....

True his delivery is questionable . Time will tell I guess he is our man for now.

No!!! say it aint so, another QB rotation plan??  you've got to be kidding, not again.  we all know how bad that turned out for us last season.

The biggest thing that i see if this team will have success this year is at QB; three things had to be corrected & if not it could be a long season.

Carbone:

1. Footwork
2. Ability to read an OPEN receiver
3. Mobility & throwing the ball to opposite side of the field.

QB 2nd  option we don't have anyone currently on the team with game time experience; teams will be gunning to get to the QB his year.

I think the rest of the team looks solid and stronger then last year; might have issue with rush of the edge & we half to wait & see who steps up.

Chuck Priore said he has great news to announce out of Brooklyn yesterday on Twitter. He didnt tell me what it was when asked. Curious to know what that is all about.

Randy Pringle is for the 2017 Class he's one of the top CB's in NYC

As far as QB goes it's very simple every year in the USA all of the DI Colleges bring in at least 2 scholarship players and than the ones who don't qualify go the JC route also players who feel their DI QB's go to Prep School for a year so that leaves 2 Star QB's, late bloomers and transfers for the DIAA schools such as SBU. They really thought they had their stud QB with Ben Holmes and they would groom Tyquell Fields behind him. Once they knew Holmes wasn't going to make it around the June time frame they put in extra efforts to improve Carbone and Irwin so that he could lead this team but according to the OC/QB Coach they are not rotating QB's in 2016. Now that can all change but that is the plan right now.

They have had in to the SBU on day prospect camps at least a couple of dozen really good HS QB's for the 2017 Class that they are recruiting but that's not going to help in 2016

nice to see that Coach P will not be calling the offensive plays this season.  with him thumb off the scale, I guess we'll see how we do from an offensive side of the ball.
