What does Shawn mean when he tweeted this on December 10th?

Quote
Today we took our first steps forward into the future of LaValle Stadium. We have work to do but every journey begins with that first leap.

I have lots of confidence in our AD- having chatted with him on several occasions, he's got great ambition and practical vision. I wonder whats gonna happen with LaValle.

HMMM. I talk to Shawn at every Basketball home game. I'll surely ask him that question. Sounds like he's moving forward with the expansion of lavalle to me.. I say lets make the Playoffs every year before blowing up the stadium, if this is the case!!!!

If it is what I think is they are going to add 2500  to 2700 seats on the visitors  side along with restrooms and concession stands cost about 6.5 million. This was in the works  during the Fiore era. Finally got the green light

I don't remember him either, Hammer.  But, FWIW, here's some skinny on him:

kind of a strange quote by this guy at the time he was signing with SB:  “I wish I could play quarterback at Stony Brook, but most schools like my ability to have a nose for the ball on defense, which I am fine with,” he said. “I have a lot of experience playing safety and I actually was recruited to Nassau CC as a safety and moved to quarterback early in the second week of training camp my freshman year.”

back then we had Essington and Coulter at QB

Craig Geoghan; he is a 5th year senior?

Usually 1 years transfer don't offer much to a program; so are they also possible thinking about using as QB also. How much experience has he had playing db.

The team needs tall physical corners to go up against these big WR.

that QB from SB is pretty cool. how he got to that bowl game i have no idea.  it seems like a recruiting bowl game for lower level players to get a chance to showcase in front of CFL and arena coaches.

here is the bio on the SB QB.  http://www.stonybrookathletics.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/geoghan_craig00.html

i wonder if he kept that stuff like the helmet when he left SB, or did Coach P loan the helmet and SB stuff to him for this bowl game??

Here's a little bit of good news.  Now all they have to do is win CAA and FCS championships, and put more bodies in the seats!!

I guess something is better than nothing, but $25,000 couldn't even freshen up the concession stands. I do know, Mr. Heilbron is going full steam ahead with building a Dome type indoor workout Football facility. I was told by him directly.. He did say news is pending about 5 major upgrades!!!!We shall see,.,I hope he finds resources to make this happen. $25,000 from Albany ain't going to cut it!!!

Pro Day: Coxson and Tye ripped it up.  Coxson got invites to the Jets and Giants camp.  Tye had the fastest TE time of anyone in the country this year.

The kid playing qb in 2014 FCS bowl game Craig Geoghen was at SB 3yrs. 1st yr he redshirted, 2nd yr played safety and 3rd yr played QB ( was placeholder on kicks ). That game was last yr. He was a good athlete who never really had a position. He was a starting qb at Nassau cc.
