Wow thats big news for the Big South.  Sometimes these things have a funny way of working out better for the team losing the coach, however, Rocco did a great job at Liberty lately.

SB's schedule, which has notably increased in difficulty lately, is in this interesting position of having stronger and/or FBS teams up front, and then finishes with conference games.  Theyve been inching forward against the FCS teams (on the whole, that is) and will stun one of them soon.

Lots of credit due for a team that lost its starting QB in week 4.

It's because they lost their starting QB that they improved. No disrepect to Coulter who I'm sure was a fine team leader and QB, but Essington brought mobility to the position that was lacking.

Sorry to hear Coach Rocco is leaving I thionk he is good man  .  The Flames have to regroup , I heard the SHSU  coach is being offered an FBS  job possibly Tulane.   They build programs and move up the ladder.  I'm anxious  to see our final schedule since we still 2 open dates but 5 home games right now.

Makes me wonder at what point will Coach Priore decide to leave. We are not immune to defections either...

They   really worked hard and deserve those accolades for all their contributions on and off the field.

Watching the Montana State vs Sam Houston State on ESPN right now. Its an interesting game because SHS is rolling by MTS 21-6 in the half. I think this shows we were underrated as a team. We played so much better than What Montana State is currently playing like.

Lets see if they can pull a second half miracle

Coaching changes at Coastal also. Our two strongest rivals both take a hit.
Obviously, we do not know how the new staffs will do, but usually difficult at first to get things headed in
the right direction. Slightly different in the case of these two programs. Rocco left based on his success.
Not sure why Coastal made move. They are fairly competitive. Their message board has made reference
to money being an issue.

I read somewhere that CCU's football attendance was something like #120 out of 125 teams, and the school needed to make a change to create some more revenues.

CSU maybe, but not CCU. CCU outdrew us.
