very classy, sly fox.  youll hopefully find folks like yourself here in the SB forum!

if its any consolation, some SB sports have fallen flat on their faces recently- lacrosse '11,lacrosse '09, football '10, bball '10, bball '09; were used to it now!

liberty played really well and i think it just comes down to the turnovers- the missed FG didnt seem to have an effect on the outcome.  #1 couldnt be stopped (chris summers?)!

Great game your guys played today.  Essington really really played well today, as did the two backs.  I think that you all will be the favorites for the title next year, returning Essington and Maysonet.  RFor now, I'll be following SB, and I hope you all make some noise in the playoffs.  I don't think that you'll find any LU fans whining that the wrong team won tonight and we all know that finally, a formidable team will represent the Big South.

First off, I will admit I was very surprised by how well Liberty travelled.  They conducted themselves with class, and I have to tip my cap to them.

I don't think that Liberty has any reason to hang their heads tonight.  SBU won, but by no means was it easy.

You Liberty fans are a classy bunch, and I'm happy we play football with you. Liberty has a great team and program. Lets get two Big South schools into NCAA's next year!

Liberty fans are great fans. A lot of them came out to support their team. That was awesome. Liberty is one great football team. Each team has won in their respective home game each year. This rivalry is amazing!

Safe trip back to Virginia tonight folks and I mean that. It was a hard fought game as I expected- strange how we both beat eachother when  we are home.  We will represent the Big South in the Playoffs as best we can .

As much "pain" as we are feeling right now, we can't take anything away from you guys. You played well and didn't make the costly mistakes we did, thus you won. Congrats. You guys have a good team, and if it wasn't us in the playoffs I'm glad it's you. Our two teams have the ability to make some noise in the postseason. I hope you do and prove there are good teams in the Big South.

Your tandem of Brown and Summers has to be the most potent in the FCS. We really hope that one or both will get drafted and represent Liberty and the Big South in the NFL. And your kickoff returner is sick!
