I take a lot more than a loss from tonight. While I do hate the concept of moral victory, Is there anything negative about Stony Brook right now? When we look back and see where we were four years ago and look where we standing right now. Its a bigggg improvement. We'll continue to make the playoffs in the CAA and our championship hopes are as alive as they ever been. We can only be proud of our alma mater and the Seawolves. We are only going forward from here

Good bye Big South. Time for CAA Football.

Thinking about next season: I hope we get Albany at home!

Well said ecasadoSBU.  Another great season to build on.  Would have loved to be playing next week but as the Stones always said...you can't always get what you want.  Hats off to MSU.

Going to miss the seniors, but can't wait to see Coaker go for 2000 next year.  CAA here we come.

btw-was at a wedding last night with a Villanova season ticket holder and he said he wouldn't be surprised if at some point over the next few years that they dropped football.  They lose $4.0M a year on it and with the the conferance movement their goal of moving the program up the the Big East might not be a viable anymore.  It was just his opinion but made perfect sense.

Defense played great, just didn't execute on offense. We can play with the big boys, now we just need to get over that sweet 16 hump.

Saw the same exact thing- offense just couldnt get a rhythm going, and aside from a couple of big plays, they were relatively contained.  But the D deserves a lot of credit for holding MSU to only 16, especially considering the big plays given up, the weather, the environment, etc.

Tough loss but i bleed scarlet- GO SB

Just wanted to say I was impressed with SB, and you guys played a hell of a game.  That is one tough offense - turnovers were the difference in this one.  Good luck in the CAA!

Thanks. We'll be rooting for the Bobcats.
