Lets say the 6 seed upsets the #3 seed in the QF. Lets also assume that 2 beats 7 and 4 beats 5 and that the #1 goes and beats #8. Normally the #1 seed would go on to play  the winner of the 4vs5 game. Instead they will face the #6 seed because the #6 seed is the lowest seed to advance to the semis. so each round gets reseeded with the #1 playing against the lowest seeded team standing

Hey ya'll, I'm doing a quick preview of the basketball team- gonna go through the roster and give a brief rundown of each player. Mainly its a project that will help me get to know the team. I'm going down from seniors to freshman.

Here's the first one, Dave Coley http://tinyurl.com/mcuvbom

Oh no. Not again. We promised ourselves that we will no longer keep up with the bracketology and RPIs. That may be the source of bad luck for the team. LOL

I'll be there for Meet the Team! Can't wait to see the arena!

Just previewed Anthony Jackson (http://tinyurl.com/lphqlkm). I like doing this project solely because I get to learn a lot more about our players- I had no idea how good Jackson's high school team was until I did some research.

We  all have to be optimistic about this upcoming  season.  We need  20 plus wins again  and a trip to the dance in March!

I've read lots of great things about the potential for this team over this past summer and fall.  Coach P., the papers, Twitter and the blogs have been effusive about the abilities and expectations for each and every scholarship player--with one glaring exception, Kam Mitchell!.  I haven't seen his name mentioned even once!

From the time he was first recruited a couple of years back, I have read and seen videos about him, which certainly showed him as an amazing 3-point shooter, with skill cutting to the basket and a tremendous free-throw shooter.  What happened?  I had been thinking he was going to be the role player that came off the bench late in the game when the Seawolves were in trouble and needed quick scoring--a la Marcus Rouse!!

Can any of you guys close to the practice sessions shed any light?  Has he not worked hard enough for Coach?  Is he a disaster on defense?  What's the scoop?
