I think the 6 million will cover seats on the visitors side along with added restrooms and  a concession stand-but that was last November.  Dont even know if the State relaesed any funding yet.

Speaking of the State.. Look how long it took the State to finally give the all clear to start with the basketball Arena. Without going back to look at the first start date , but I think it was suppose to start in  2008. !!! Ouch. Lavelle Stadium has another 4 years to go with the extra 2600 seat expansion!!!! Gotta love NYS !!!!

Just to add something else... Now that SB Football is in the CAA Lavelle Stadium would be the smallest in size, so if i'm not mistaken, they have to make the stadium larger. Maybe someone else on the board could elaborate more on that. I'll try to dig that up !!!!!!

He's a  real good 3 point shooter, but what about his rebounding, that appears to be average at best from what I could see in his highlight videos!

Anyone else get  their information package about the new arena ? It was sent to season ticket holders.    Gives  info on how season tickets are going to be distributed  for the new arena, also mentions  season tickets are on the rise for our last season in Pritchard Gym  2013-2014. Good sign  the fan base is  expanding   e3very season.

Steve Pikell contract extended to 2017, with that We should only get better each passing year..  Also, Pikell and wife donated $ 50,000 back to the Stony Brook program and Hospital. Way to go coach,  that says a lot for your continue support and building of a Franchise team !!!!!

The contract extension is good for our program and the University. He has always represented the University   in a positive  way on and off the court.  Good for him and us!
