« on: January 28, 2013, 06:49:11 pm »
Can we have a thread dedicated to Seawolves Basketball News, Press Releases, etc similar to the one under Football section?

Finally!  SBU broke into the mid major top 25.

I think this is long overdue - but they finally got it right.

Finally. About time! And if we can win at Albany, then I'm sure we will stay on top 25 in next week's ranking too.

Albany was ranked earlier....now they are not receiving any votes. We need to win this one.

ya.. def good read.. thanks ry1nik.

Here is my question: As Rothstein said "He’s easily one of America’s best glue guys". What happens after he graduates? While Warney has the potential to be the best PF in AE, I want to know who in our team is ready to step up to lead the team, do all the dirty works, be the glue and produce on both ends.. simply who is going to be our TB next season regardless of the position?

I'd like to think that the general talent level of all players on the team (including recruits for next season) is elevating enough so we won't have to rely so much on one "glue guy" for success.

nice coverage, good ink for us, and finally a well written article.  i get the feeling theyve actually seen him play, rather than relying on names and stats.

Got my Tickets for Vermont game on Feb 15. They are all sold out and my guess is the reaming home games will all be sold out as well. That's great news for their program.. Can't wait to see the new Arena !!!!!

Sold out already? fu**!! I was going to leave work early that friday just to get to that game. I guess not... I checked Stubhub and it has two tickets selling for $57.00 each for a Reg season game... god...

I feared the day that I would get priced out of Stony brook tickets (adding the food+toll+gas from NYC) and that day is getting here faster than I thought. I'll think about it, but I may just choose to watch online
