I don't see Olaniyi playing a lick of time in the NBA. I just can't see it. If you're going to go to the NBA from the AE, you need to DOMINATE the AE the way Warney and Lamb did. I suspect he'll withdraw and come back.

Had everything not fallen apart I'd say we'd be the favorites next year in the AE, but with Laitmer gone, Olaniyi potentially gone, and Ford having no clue what he's doing? Probably going to be another middle of the road finish like this year.

Agreed. SB will probably be picked 4th in the preseason,  and finish around there as well.

Geno Ford sucks and his true colors as a HC will he seen next season

i think it depends.  if we have a team mentality and move the ball, we will win.

if we don't share the ball- well, we already have that so it's rather predictable.

i know there's a new normal- and these are not normal times- but something is really, really wrong here.

yeboah went, ola wants to go the NBA, then all of this.  we are literally talking more about departures than the two recent commitments.

Ochefu was already a bench piece who got like 5 minutes per game. Add Policelli and Habwe and it's clear his time was going to decrease even more.

When's Alex Christie gonna leave, then

We know nothing about our two commitments. Nothing to talk about yet.

He'll play plenty. He was a top level AE player. He's not Yeboah level, but he'll definitely play in the SEC and get decent minutes.

I have my doubts.  Yeboah is a 6'6" wing who can shoot.  Garcia is strictly an inside player at 6'4".  I think he is going to find it very hard playing against kids who are more athletic and jump higher than him who are also 4 inches taller.  He is an AE level talent.

My thoughts exactly Salty!! Garcia will be eaten alive in the SEC.

He won't be a star, but I'd also be surprised if he was completely overmatched. In 15-20 minutes a night, he'll be fine. He did a good job here of knowing his role.

Garcia against in our top few games the last two years ...
at Providence: 12 points, 5 boards, 4-9 shooting, 28 minutes
at Virginia: 8 points, 3 boards, 3-5 shooting, 31 minutes
at Seton Hall: 7 points, 4 boards, 2-5 shooting, 31 minutes

at Rhode Island: 14 points, 6 boards, 3-6 shooting, 30 minutes
at South Carolina, 11 points, 4 boards, 4-6 shooting, 19 minutes
at Northern Iowa: 24 points, 6 boards, 9-9 shooting, 28 minutes
