He seems like a really nice kid. Rooting for him wherever he ends up.

From afar, he always seemed like a great teammate to me.  Hope he lands somewhere and plays.  Maybe he should give Pikiell a holler at Rutgers.

Some schools whose coaches Mike has recently followed on Twitter ... Colorado Christian, UT Permian Basin, Tusculum, USC Aiken and William Woods.

Just read that  Mike has received an offer from Texas-Permian Basin (DII).  I'm not familiar with them at all, but at least he's got something for the taking if he wants it.

If he signed here, I assume he would sit a year and thus would step in for the departed Cornish in the 19-20 campaign. It seems he’s more of a scoring guard than a distributor, so maybe his game mirrors UC’s. 199 of his 276 shot attempts this past year from three.

Here's a little more background on Foreman.  Note the Hargrave ( by now a reliable SBU source) connection, which provides some insight into how Coach B. may have found this kid:

Lamar Thornton was an assistant coach at Hargrave during Foreman's post grad year.

He's proven can produce at the D1 level. He'd be an excellent addition, but I suspect he's going to get plenty of offers.

Hope he choses Stony Brook!

This kid has some really nice moves getting to the basket in traffic. Shoots the 3 ball exceptionally well. How the heck is he only rated a 2* like everybody else on Rivals?  Looks like a good catch for Boals and company. Only wish he could start rightvaway..

Wow, this could be a huge get. He's the type of player who I think will thrive in the AE.

I think Coach Thornton was a big part of this get along with McKenzie.

Good PG play is crucial to our success. Hopefully, he can use his transfer year to get a feel for this team.

i like him.

wish list- for the offseason(s), spend some time developing a vertical, that could make him even more versatile if he can grab some boards (and compete inside with 6'5'' guards).  maybe the left hand for layups too.  thanks for sharing!

I always liked Alonzo, and it used to drive me nuts watching him sit on the bench when Petrus was getting all the minutes. The little we saw of Alonzo, i thought was a better player then Petrus on both sides of the court. He just needed more playing time on the court.. Alonzo had a higher BB IQ then Petrus and was a much better defender...

I liked Campbell too.  Not a Petras in terms of bulk, but I thought he was good around the rim, and had that 10-12 foot jumper.  Wish him well; I believe he deserved more of a chance at SBU.
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)
