SBU ESPN3 Basketball Announcers
« on: March 16, 2017, 09:25:07 am »
As a newbie on this board, I hope I'm not violating protocol by starting my own thread (let me know if this is case please), but here goes.

I just wanted to say that I find it incredibly awesome that ESPN3 streamed every AE game this year, and a whole bunch of OOC games.  For those of us who cannot make all the home games (me!), I find it tremendously convenient to be able to catch all the SBU games, either live or on replay.

Additionally, the team of announcers, Carl Reuter and Curt Hylton, do a fantastic job, IMO.  I grew up with Carl Reuter doing a lot of High School sports on Cablevision, and he is a fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable guy.  Curt Hylton, who's been doing Seawolves radio forever, has blossomed into an outstanding, in-depth analyst.  I really like how the two of them have gelled as a team, and have provided outstanding analysis and game coverage, game-in and game-out.

Kudos to both of them, and to ESPN3, who have really made the Seawolves basketball experience top notch!
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

There's no protocol here.. We all want it lively here. So keep posting. Only thing to avoid is two game threads.

And ditto on announcers.
