Welcome to the forum Alexander. The loss to Sacred Heart earlier this season was a big setback for the team; there's no explaining it for a program that should be a serious mid-major contender. Coming back and beating Sacred Heart at their place would take away some of that sting.

This is must win for us. Giving up that huge lead last month to them at home was a setback . We should be 8-1 now only losing to a ranked UConn on the road.

Always bemused over the years with the difficulty we have with Sacred Heart. Even in years when we seem to be stronger, we struggle with their program. I don't know where to put my finger on it. Their coach has been there for many years so we know he is experienced. They seem to have our #. Time to change that. Any thoughts?

1. Rebound more
2. Don't force shot.. pass around for better look. Coley was 1/10 against them.

With the way the teams been playing it just seems like the loss to Sacred Heart was us getting some kinks worked out of the offense.  The team is developing an identity now and I don't think their play against sacred Heart in the past will come in to play. Warney and Tommy will get the boards needed and Coley and Jackson will have a great day.

They're playing better because they stopped the stupid "keep away" passive offense they employ when they're up big late. Sacred Heart used that to rally, and we almost handed the game to Canisus in the same way. But thankfully it looks like it's behind them.

Agree with you guys, must win tomorrow against Sacred Heart.  They have lost two of their guards (Evans and Kelly) for rest of the season I think, so depth is a concern.  SB is actually getting some respect nationally from the computers, as today's rankings show.  You are easily the top-rated AE team:

24-22 Stony Brook lead. Lets go stony Brook! They are playing a bit sloppy but hopefully they come out on top.
