Totally agree.. I don't think Boals came here with the aspiration to coach another mid-major again. He will follow Pikiell's footsteps. Establish his coaching and recruiting credentials at Stony Brook next few years and then find a HC job at a power conference (F5+BigEast). At worse he will take a A10 job, which is a high-mid conference. But I don't see him leaving in next few years until he is a hot commodity, and definitely not for another mid or low-mid major.
Unless of course he fails to find success here. And all the indications from this past season, do not indicate we are moving towards that direction.. hopefully
