I don't know how great Vermont is.  Don't misunderstand, they are easily the best team in the America East, and it's not even close.  I don't think they lose by less than 20 in any game of the AE tournament.  They probably get a #15, because they did lose to SBU, Wagner, and Bryant.  Their best win is Illinois State.  They played Duke tight, but it was right before they started conference play and at the time UVM was 1-4.  That was a trap.

Problem is, they're a hot team, and they're playing teams barely good enough to crack the top 300 in the nation.

On the SBU front, somebody explain to me how we're down 20 with 10 minutes to go, the team is fighting through "injuries" and "wearing down", and we still refuse to use Burnett, Mitchell, Braley for anything other than handing out stools during timeouts.

On to more important matters, Haverford finished the season 8-16 after a three game losing streak ended their season.  I'm a bit disappointed.  If they won 3 more games, we'd probably have a 10th America East member next year.

Let's look at the bright side:

1) 6 of the top 7 players on Vermont are seniors.
2) Stony Brook can't shoot any worse.
3) If Stony Brook wins at home on Sunday against Albany and Hartford beats U Made a Bad Choice then Albany will be the 4th seed. So, hopefully Albany plays Vermont in the semis at Albany!

Is it me... Or is the talent on our team under performing?

I couldn't watch. It was so terrible from the start. Damnnnn. That whipping was so bad that it sent straight to bed. By 3rd quarter I was asleep. What a pain. Good thing is that its only a game. Doesn't mean our season is over. But if we wanna have a chance this team has to wake up. I really do feel like they can play better. Lets see what they show come tourney time

i think we can do it.  we are in the tourney.  we have a high seed.  weve beaten vermont already and they can go cold or we can go hot.  or maybe we avoid vermont?  isnt the tourney in albany?  its not like HFA matters then.  unless its against albany.  and i know we can beat albany.

I doubt we will pay  to play in the CBI.  Need to beat Albany  and then hope for the best next weekend, hopefully Vermont goes cold and gets knocked off. Last night was the worst I have seen this team play completely flat. Every team is wearing down now and playing hurt right now it is a long season.  But many teams  are also winning I didn't  event think we would break 50 points last night. Anyway we are still in it  with two weeks  to go.

Seawolf97.. As we all know by now, I've been to every home game this season. With that said, Ever since we lost to Albany SB has spiraled downhill at home and away.. Even at home, they look completely lost.... The leadership we once had is gone. Turnovers by our guards is the worst I've ever seen. 3 point shooting has been anemic. Rebounding is terrible.. Warney who I look up to fell asleep lately.. Walker lost his mojo going to the basket and creating fouls... Jackson and Coley have the seniors blues and contribute nothing as of late.. MacAllister is doing his best...Purifoy is probably the only consistent player on the court this year. I could go on and on but won't..  Last nights  performance really pissed me off but I must regain my composure and keep my mouth shut and hope Saturdays game against Albany they turn it around... But I don't think so!!!!!!!

Hammer couldn't agree with you more. This is not the same team  from  December of early January. I don't know fatigue,  lack of leadership etc.  Vermont came out  last  night ready to play and  ran all over us. We were never mentally in the game.
