We escape with a 69-62 win somehow. Wow. That press was absolutely savage, but I'll take it.

Wow, that game was an absolute war. SBU survives with huge shots from Akwasi and Cornish to seal the deal. 34-40 from the charity stripe; that was the difference in this game, imo.

8-1!  Congrats to the team! Survived the Manhattan D.
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

Manhattan through everything they had at SB and we survived it. This was a good test for tougher opponents down the rd.

Brown is good 6-4 record coming out of the Ivy. Won't be easy, but I think we can pull that one off too. Keep the good luck rolling right?

One thing though, Brown will be our 10th game of the year, but we've only played two of our games at home thus far. I know we get a three game home stretch after the Brown game, but I can't help but feel that despite all the early season tournaments we've played one more home game by this point in the year usually. Regardless, go SB!! Enjoy this win tonight.

We won this game on the free throw stripe with 82% made.  Something we never have done in the recent past

Free throws. Unreal. 34 makes is three shy of the single-game record of 37, done twice. We're at 76.5% for the season. Since going D-I, we've been better than 70% only six times, and no better than 72.2%.

When's the last time we won a game with 15 made field goals? THAT might be a record.

Let's start the 1,000 point watch for Yeboah. With 25 more tonight, he's up to 956 for his career and is on pace to do it sometime during our homestand – OR DURING A QUADRUPLE OVERTIME THRILLER THIS WEEKEND. Top five in the Division I era isn't out of the question by year's end.

Just a hard-nosed win. I'll take ugly though. Heck of a job by the guys.
