A little short on time and there's not much to say, so I'll make this brief.

Shawnee State was picked to finish last in the Mid-South Conference behind such stalwarts as Life, Cumberlands and Cumberland. They've rattled off five straight wins, including a 2-0 win by forfeit over Ohio-Chillicothe and their most recent win over Rio Grande, which is in Ohio.

Let's get everybody in and out of here without injury, and turn our sights to Saturday.

NAIA = "character-driven intercollegiate athletics" (from the NAIA site).

I've spent the last 5 minutes of my life using my friend Google to try to understand the NAIA, and I still don't get it. Probably just beyond my simple mind. But I'll go to the game, root for SBU, and hope I see some good "character" unfold. We could use some more of that these days...

I thought they were D2, but they're in the NAIA instead, which to many is roughly equal to D2, but I disagree there.

Point is, we're going to blow them out BAD. Good confidence booster for this team though. I'll say we scheduled a win at the right time.

I would love 20 minutes and a double-double out of Ochefu tonight. Good run for Long and Donohoe too.

We need a boost right about now . Play the bench most of the night and give Ochefu some  real looks.

If Ochefu doesnt play tonight then one would have to think he is either being redshirted or is not at 100%..

i only saw the second, but we looked sloppy.  so did Shawnee.  they missed a lot shots and boards.  we got lots of minutes for the reserves though, which is good.

SB looked better in the first half. Second half was a little sloppy. McKenzie looked comfortable shooting from three tonight.
