Bryant ball control and movement was beautiful. Their team is extremely disciplined and they are not afraid to drive to the basket. SB on the other hand is still showing no signs of chemistry. Not much more I can really say except. I could see SB finishing at the bottom of the AE conference this year...

This is a brand new team.  If we gel, I can see us going .500 in conference play.  As earlier posters stated, we have yet to put and entire 40 minutes together.  We have shown signs of brilliance (today for 20 mins), against St. Johns for 16 mins, and against Hofstra for 10 minutes.  Unfortunately, with a team this raw, every TO or missed layup or missed FT is magnified that much more.  IMO, Geno has to encourage more ball movement and trying to limit shooting to a 15' radius of basket; we really have no pure shooters on this team .  We also need more cutting to the basket, off ball movement.  And we need more pressing on D; I think we have enough athletes on this team to pull that off.  And free throw shooting must get better (11-19 doesn't cut it).  Overall, a pretty entertaining game, even though we ended with a thud.

The America east will be a series of ups and downs maybe they can get hot late in the season. Thats the most we can hope for.

Yes, effectively 3-way rotation between Mo, Sayles, and Habwe.  Mo showed flashes of brilliance on the offensive end today, and always does on the defensive end, but his type of unabashed play leads to fouls.  Sayles to a lesser extent, but he's foul prone too.  Habwe seems like a down and dirty kid, who I think deserves more minutes.  This may sacrifice some minutes for Policelli, but he has less than dazzled me so far - I need to see him do more off the ball, to free himself up to shoot in rhythm, which is supposed to be his forte.

just what i was going to write.

actually id start gueye, sales, habwe, greene, and JFR.  policelli off the bench until he either moves off ball, or takes a shot from the arc (not 4 feet behind it 5 seconds into the possession, and then stands still watching the carom).

habwe is a shot in the arm, a real swing player that does a lot, and is very athletic.

JFR grabbed i think 8 boards today.  who's gonna get the ball from us with that starting 5 on the floor?

Policelli needs to move in on 3s those are the ones he actually makes. This team needs an identity to bring about some flow to the offense. Habwe sayles and mo i worry would clog the paint because none are shooting threats if policelli moved to the bench.
