Game 4: SBU at Loyola (MD)
« on: November 23, 2015, 11:26:49 am »
Loyola enters the game 1-3, with a 94-82 loss to St. Bonaventure this weekend.

They have five players averaging double figures, four of whom are either seniors or redshirt juniors. The only one who isn't is Andre Walker, who played two seasons at St. Anthony's before transferring to Christ the King. He made the Patriot League All-Rookie Team last year.

Also of note, Tyler Hubbard is 18 for 29 from three (61%). The rest of the team is 6 for 38.

The Seawolves should take care of business after a couple heartbreakers.

With Woodhouse at PG, and essentially having two PG's on the floor, I am wondering if Petras should start getting more time. He is bound to get his share of high percentage shots now that SB has a more legitimate half court offense. Also going into conference play I think he and Warney need to get used to playing on the court at the same time.

I haven't seen this group yet - missed the USMMA game - and thus I'm looking forward to Saturday. The only benefit of these games is to get the reserves some serious run. Petras should get more than the 12 he got in the opener.

Led this one wire to wire and comfortably. Five players in double figures led by 18 and 13 from Jameel.

Great to see 21 assists on 29 makes, and dominance on the glass. I wish SP would go a little more than seven deep. Not sure where Roland was.

We were at the game. It was a little bit of a strange gym but a good time. We had a good rhythm in the first half. They were triple teaming in the paint in the second half. Carson had a really off night. We can work some kinks out this Saturday.
