Way to back into the #2 boys!  Tip of that hat to Salty, who called the SBU/UA QF matchup.
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

Beware of Coach Brown during Playoff season  especially against us.

You know Maine's going to win, so you go out and look exceedingly weak and vulnerable heading into the tournament. Savvy move, SBU! Clever gamesmanship! Just wait for Saturday...

but wait...

Didn't we establish you cannot beat a team 3 times in one season?

Coach Brown is licking his chops. This will be their entire season, and what better than to knock out SBU...again.

We’ll be ready for UA. It’ll be a grind, but we’ll be ready.

SBU vs UA twice this week.

If I based my prediction on the small sample size of games I saw this year, I'm thinking  SB fails to take advantage of a run in the middle of the first half, the game will be very close until around the 13 min mark of the second half, when SB goes into a five minute scoring drought (missed threes, missed alley-oops and unforced turnovers) falls behind 14 points, loses by 8 and the headline of the SB FB post will be "SB falls short after a furious comeback bid"

But what I actually think will happen is that Olaniyi, Garcia and Foreman will be too much for the Danes and SB wins a squeaker, 62-58- good guys.

I'm thinking the women by a dozen against UA tonight.

Saturday probably comes down to the 3 ball. If it falls, okay, and if not, well...

so you're saying it's not good enough to just take a lot of threes?  ;) :D ;D (im kidding of course)

our program touts the # of threes we attempt, meanwhile, it really means nothing (especially if you cant hit them, or win a big game).  in fact i'd argue it's the reason we sometimes lose- too many ill-selected threes.  at least control the clock, prevent breaks, etc.

but otherwise i think that's right- will these go down.  do we at least try to work the ball inside?

It is frustrating at times, that's for sure.  I think teams are just focusing more on Garcia in the paint and Foreman around the arc, because we haven't shown that we can score consistently with anyone else.  Since Foreman has a shooting mentality, and Geno encourages him to shoot, a lot of his shots look forced - that's why getting Elijah back yesterday, gave him some better looks, as defenses now have to worry about Olaniyi again as a 3rd scorer.  Still think Mo needs to get involved more in the offense, but in the paint, not launching 3's.  Offense should never go through Jeff - I cringe whenever he touches the ball.
