We moved ball decently. Having Elijah on court helps with better open shots. We need better D underneath; Jeff foul trouble didn’t help. Need to get out on Forbath.

The announce said that Geno has a no reverse layup policy - if you try it you will find yourself on the bench.  So contested 3's from 30 feet are ok, but don't reverse that layup?  I can't believe that's true.

As always, thanks Checkmate.

Correct and appropriate to focus on the 3-ball here and forward. Live or die by it. Sorry COB, not going away and probably not moderated either anytime soon....

it's ok; im still a fan.  i've just gotten used to losing any game of significance.  except one.

At some point, somebody is going to jump our entry pass to the high post, or leave the cutting guard and pick our guy’s pocket when he’s not paying attention.

Salty, was Speidl playing legit, or did they give him a token layup as a gesture?

100% token layup.  All scripted, Albany won the tip and went in for a layup.  Vermont inbounded - passed to the opposite wing then into the post, he cut down the lane took the bounce pass and went in for the layup while Albany watched, they then subbed him out immediately.  You can tell his body has never recovered from the accident.  Im sure the replay is on espn plus if you have it - would not be surprised to see it on Sportcenter also.

We stink defending UMBC - the good news is we may back into a very undeserving 2 seed.  Maine is up 9 on Hartford.

It would be typical of this season if our competition stumbled and we managed to stay in the #2 spot. Maine looking good. Larsson lighting up the night.

I’d love to know why the pick and roll just isn’t a consideration offensively. Gueye would seem like the perfect dive guy.
