Well, it was fun being semi-relevant for a week and a half. Now back to reality. Everything is still in front of this team. Just need to execute.

What was up with Boal's rotation last night? I know we are deep but... he played his two most effective players, Yeboah (20 pts.) and Olaniyi (19 points) only 26 minutes each. There was no issue with fouls and both were playing well. Clearly HC had great trouble stopping those two.  3rd highest scorer for SBU had just 8 points.

(By contrast, HC's leading scorers played 39 and 36 minutes each)

Otchere did  a nice job staying out of foul trouble, blocking shots, and rebounding -- had his hands full battling HC's one good inside player (Floyd)

I do agree, unless he was worried about playing back-to-back days (although a win would have given them Sat off).   At one crucial point when I believe we were down by 12 in the 2nd half, we had Moor, Long, McKenzie, Garcia, and ? (forget the 5th), which was clearly not our best offensive unit out there.  I did think that wasn't the best mix out there, given the deficit.
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

The other question I have re: the rotation is why Coach B. continues to play Christie in front of Ochefu.  I thought the latter has showed great play in the first two games, but hardly played at all last night.  Christie has not shown much to date, and clearly needs more seasoning.

Holy Cross was clearly the superior team last night.  Aside from the specific stats, which were certainly impressive, I thought their ball movement/passing was truly outstanding.  Their inside game was also outstanding.  Was this a one-off dor them, or are they truly that good?
