This feels like a big Latimer game to me. I see us with two knockdown shooters in Yeboah and Latimer, and if we move the ball well, Latimer could get a bunch of open looks.

id like to see otch stay out of foul trouble.  it's early, he's new.  and he's found minutes and early success.  but if he keeps it to 1-2 per half, i think we can use him more like 25-30min a game.

otherwise, no problem, as ochefu seems to be able to step in, even garcia.

For those that are curious, we still have a top 5 strength of win/loss record according to ESPN  ;D. I'd like to keep that.

SB cant lose this game by no means. If they do people will just say it was a fluke that we beat SC and GW. Beat HC and we can keep the media parade going.. Great press for SB. It will only help with future recruiting.

I find it interesting that Vegas has SBU -1 and an O/U of 136. And KenPom, at least a week in advance of the line's release, had us winning 69-68.

KenPom is awesome, but of course, Checkmate, you know that the de-facto standard for betting line realiism is BetFair, who correctly called the SC game:

10 minutes to tip-off!!!

I also find it funny that Vegas has us as a 1pt favorite, but ESPN's predictor gave Holy Cross something like a 70% chance to win the game. Explain that.

There is NOBODY there. My antics at the GW would be extra effective tonight.  ;D

We had a good start, then slipped a bit, I wouldn't worry too much though. It's still early.

Holy Cross is good defensively and is running the full court press. We're bigger than they are though across the board. As long as we keep being aggressive on the rebounds, I think we'll be fine. We just had a great run right there and Yeboah is starting to take over the game like we need him to.

They're hitting everything from 3. We've got to shut that down in the second half.

I'm very tempted to turn the game off, but I know better than to do that with this team.

A healthy serving of humble pie. Not the worst thing to happen to us. I think Holy Cross will end up being pretty good in their league.

HC is a very disciplined team; great passing in particular. We had no answer for those back door cuts. Our shooting pretty bad most of the night, except for Akwasi going off in the first half. One bright spot I thought was the blocking ability of Otchere; he’s going to be an impact player in the AE.

25 assists to our 8 says a lot.
