Got the game playing in the background on my computer with Redzone on the TV. St. Johns plays a very quick offense which Stony Brook appears to be somewhat comfortable with, forcing turnovers early.

if greene can handle the ball this well against a B1G team, then maybe he's an option for bringing the ball up.  full court press is messing with our game.

also, some early old-school ball.  a give and go that kinda worked (but rimmed out), a baby hook from jay-say, and then a pick and roll.

nice start from gueye.  SJU looks impatient and taking many perimeter shots.

Only watched 2 minutes of this game so far, but I like what I'm seeing today thus far. We're looking pretty good.

yeah it's going to be by committee this year, i predict.

something you don't see often for us- off-ball movement.  id give habwe 20min a night just for that.

nice start for TPP!  toro has 3 PFs early.

the salesman with a lefty putback, a jumper, and drew a good foul too.

Amazed at the great play thus far. Let’s keep it going!  Mo en fuego!
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

Stony Brook is clearly winning the rebound battle, 17-8, but they have yet to get to the foul line. Considering how they fared there on Friday, is that a good thing? No. What is good is Toro sitting with 3 fouls in only 3 minutes.

I guess I jinxed. All downhill since the Policelli missed FT. He’s gotta sit.

Rough first half for him. 0-6, 0-4 from beyond the arc.

Policelli and Diallo Killing us in last 4 mins. Ball movement stopped. A shame since we played 16 great minutes.

we had a solid 6 point lead, but SJU picked up the defensive pressure, and we missed some deep shots. 20-2 run

3 of those late attempts went the other way for a three.  as usual, playing with a lead, can be difficult.

49-35 at half

Gotta say he’s been disappointing this year as far as shooting is concerned. And that is his strength.

Every single St. Johns player that has stepped onto the court today, has scored.
