The extension decision comes in march this year. So some clarity is coming. I’ll look at some power 5 assistants who could take over.

That's at least somewhat encouraging. They'll extend him though. He has his excuses lined up.

Roberts, Sarvan, Rocco are probably not D1 level. Fitzmorris is probably the worst rebounding 7 footer i have ever seen. And the rest are backups. Zero time table on TSM given during the game.

If he gets extended I want Helibron to go on record providing a justification so he can tie his job security to it.

I mentioned this before but SB is a perfect landing spot for coaches like Ford and Priore "we fought hard", "we're gonna learn from this", "we don't make excuses here, but..."

This is year 4 of the 5-year contract, Geno could get fired to avoid a lame duck year but the only alternative to preventing a lame duck year is an extension, and Shawn Heilbron is such a useless buffoon as a leader that he already made that mistake with Priore and I can see him doing it again

Yeah i can see a I'm just here to collect a paycheck mindset has set in amongst the department. Not to mention the fact that Helibron got all sports banned from postseason competition by announcing the move to the CAA in season and did nothing to help the student athletes. But hey thats public college Admin for ya 425k to be mediocre.

The three supposed doormats in the CAA came up with wins today – Elon, Monmouth and Hampton. Two in a row for Elon. Two in a row for Monmouth, who seems to have found something.

It's just so hard to be enthusiastic about the rest of this season. TBH, I'm surprised we haven't seen more games like this, with just a lost offense, but we somehow competed and scratched out a few wins. And it's a credit to the team, including Geno. But somebody asked several games ago "what is this team good at?" and it was a valid question. The only answer that I can see, really, is competing. And that's big. But in terms of talent and fitting into a puzzle that makes sense, we have a lot of warts. And that we're on the hook for many years with a many of these guys is concerning. What does next year look like?

i dunno.  this season has looked lost at times and then geno & co. revived the team.  this is just another valley among peak(s).  maybe.

but with that said- is this really all that different than seasons past?  if making the NCAAs is the goal, then this season will end like all others.  except one of course.

Good question. I doubt Policelli returns does TSM? Noll Clarke? Sabry Frey will. Kaeden space i believe is a freshman next year. Roberts transfer down? Tanaj transfer? Sarvan Fitz Rocco probably shouldn’t play as much next year. Not really sure where this goes.

I dont think policelli is back. I would love to know what the president thinks about the game tonight she was there.

I thought this was the last year for TSM and Policelli...If they have another year I hope they return but I would never blame anyone that transfers from SB MBB...

Going back to the AE, under Ford SB has been in the bottom of the conference in "conference only" 3 point percentage. This year they are 10th after 10 CAA games...I'm surprised it's that high

Hey guys, another game I watched on DVR. Really minimizes the agony time. This team has run out of gas. No depth, playing with mostly D1 bench players and D2 caliber players at this point. I still question who pushed Clarke and Frey back into action before they were ready, losing them for year. Geno or trainers?  Anyway, lost season at this point. Btw, Elon has a lot of talent imo. I liked their pressing D and traps, and Gillens-Butler is clearly a P5 caliber player.
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)
