Yes, I agree with what everyone is said here. The game was in no way as close as the final score would indicate. Albany completely dominated, and SBU looked out of synch all night. Hopefully, it was an anomaly, rather than an indicator of a trend. For the Seawolves, it was a pure case of too many and too little:
--Too Little: Coley, rebounding, chances at the foul line, DEFENSE
--Too Many: Turnovers, fouls, mental errors
One more thing!! I think the play last night shows how key Pureifoy is to the SBU offense this year. I am certain that if he were in there, the Seawolves would have had many more opportunities at the foul line and his cuts to the basket would have created many more open shots. ....Which leads me to the question, where was he? Was it the groin injury that finally took its toll, or something else? I've seen no press on his absence whatsoever!
