any updates on tyler would be appreciated. he went down hard, looked like lower back/glute. if he needs to sit, then sit him. his health is more important than a game.
there's a saying- "tonight's not our night". turns out you can change that. an incredible mental lesson for any sports team.
we took an exhausted, understaffed, pieced together squad, with transfers year after year- in a new conference no less, losing our best player to injury, and showed a lot of guts on the road. guts that may turn an upset in a conference tournament- if we are lucky enough. W&M couldn't miss a three for a while there, that was insane.
did we play good tonight? maybe, i think yes. obviously we were down 20 for a while but i thought the 2nd half was great. rocco in particular, pettway too.
even when my theory is wrong, it's right. minimize the low % shots (we started 1/9 behind the arc, hit the next 9/14); play good basketball. offense wasnt really even the issue tonight, i think it was defense and hot shooters.
