I called it in the beginning of the season. SB will finish at or very close to the bottom of the conference this year. I standing by by prediction

Only thing working against your prediction, Hammer, is that this is still the AE, and right now it continues to look like a pretty big tangle of teams from 2-6 and three truly horrible teams at the bottom (yes, that SBU squeaked by in two cases so far). UA seems to be trending up, but (despite SBU's loss today) I don't see much separation among the other "contenders."

SBU loses the next one to UML, however, and you'll have me in your camp...

While anything could happen come March, I'm inclined to agree with Hammertime. This is a lost season for SBU basketball. In years past, we'd beat the teams at the bottom and at least compete with the top teams in the AE, usually Albany or Vermont. This year we look lost against everyone. I'm not hopeful. Especially since it's fairly likely we don't get a home game in the AE tournament at all.
