Could've been worse. At least Sarvan gave us something to chew on. Hope Frey isnt out too long.

Unimpressed by the 7 footers. Sarvan got hot and looked good TSM and Policelli did well. Poor coaching to not pound the paint would like to see Policelli shoot more we are gonna need him to win games in this league. The guards are shaky need AC back.

I'm not an expert (as my posts clearly indicate), but Fitz moves well and seems athletic for his size. I dont know how he stacks up against the CAA but he looks better than any SB big in the last 12 years not named Warney. Sarvan looks like a legit shooter and also moves well with and without the ball. With TSM and Policelli, that's not a bad big-4.

I actually don’t think we’re that far from being pretty decent. We deff need AC back. I hope Frey won’t be out long, but being in a boot can’t be to promising ? Once AC and Frey comes back, I think we will be able to hold our own. TO can learn a lot playing behind AC. Sarvan shoot lights out tonight. 42% behind the 3 point arc with Frey being out isn’t to bad.

Does it look like Jared Frey has a boot on? Yikes. This is the time of the year were supposed to be healthy.

Injury update they flashed on the screen for a second:
Sabry Phillip - ACL - Out for Season
Aaron Clarke - Back - Out Indefinitely?
Leon Nahar - ? - Out 6-8 weeks
Dean Noll - ACL - Out for season

Crazy that this team only has an 8 scholarship player rotation right now. It was never easy to be excited about this season, but the injury bug, which includes the two brightest new comers in AC and DN, is absolutely brutal.

Didn't see game, but the post-game presser not encouraging with Frey and AC not even close to returning.  Playing with a roster of 9 right now.  Any more injuries and/or foul trouble during the game, and Geno will be suiting up.
How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

The Frey injury is curious to me. They said on the Florida broadcast that Frey injured his toe in practice the night before the Florida game, received x-rays which came back negative and he played that night and looked to be moving normal. Fast forward to last night and he was in a boot and Geno is saying post game he'll be out for a while. What happened? How much of these injuries in practice are "bad luck" and how much of it is Geno/medical staff mismanagement? Not to mention AC practiced before the Florida game and now all of a sudden is out "indefinitely" with the same injury.

Exactly my thoughts. I have heard rumors this medical staff is subpar and this many injuries every year is not merely bad luck coincidental.

Interesting observation. Why play him in a game you have 0% chance to win (or less for those Bret Easton Ellis fans out there), when there is the slightest chance he could aggravate an injury that could become long-term. It's hard for me to think that I'll ever stop caring about SB sports, but Ford and Priore are putting my loyalty to the test.
