Two big fouls on Larrier.

Love seeing Saintel get involved offensively. Best athlete on the floor.

saintel looks different- then they said it, put on 30lbs.  wow he is improved.

this team is playing with swagger, picking up where the MD game left off.  yeboah with a nice behind the back no look to petras down low! sekunda with 3 threes already on three attempts!  22-15 SB 832 Q1

defense looks solid so far.  UConn is pressing hard on our clear.  even their one on one defense is ferocious.

we are hanging in there with boards though.  we got a little three-happy and lost our lead.  sturdy hanging in there against tough bigs.  iroegbu with an ill advised 1v4 penetration.

Saintel looks like a totally different player

It’s so easy to overanalyze this thing. We have a lead but ... c’mon UC, it’s 2 on 5 there!

UConn not nearly as active on the glass as Maryland. They can keep firing up threes for all I care.

Quiet half from Adams, and no Larrier.

Check - glad you noticed UC driving the basket on a 2 on 5.  This is a reason why Almonacy should never start at PG - he pushes the ball up court when Stony Brook doesn't have the numbers. Please, no more 3 point attempts by our big guys.  It's amazing, Sturdys IQ on offense is so low - he just doesn't get it.

I saw the highlights from the game on Saturday and they looked much improved - especially on the fastbreak.

i thought it was 1v4!

saw the hofstra score, good for the ladies.

larrier has 3 fouls just after half.  we have lots of TOs, in the form of steals.  adams heating up.

Oh man, I forgot about Ochefu’s three. We’re all thinking about building our lead but an Ochefu trey is like 385729572nd on the list of best ways to do it.

I dunno. Maybe he can actually shoot it. But just doesn’t seem like a high percentage look.

However this ends up, this is fun.

Almonacy’s gotten away with about five of those pushoffs with the off-arm. He’s played well though.

agreed on both counts.  larrier with 4 fouls with 7min left!  he has a great build though, he glides effortlessly around the floor.  and through the air.
