Went to the women's game so only saw the final couple minutes – monitored the heck out of it of course. We pulled another rabbit out of a hat again. Yes, a nice win, but we can't have these lulls against quality teams. It's funny what the prospect of an upset does to the team with the lead.
When I put the preview together, I initially wrote that Maine's one of those places I worry about playing at ... but looked back and saw that last year's nailbiter was an outlier. We rolled up there quite often. But it turns out my uneasiness was warranted. A second straight 64-61 win.
Vermont meanwhile demolished Binghamton. They've left little doubt in their conference wins: 29, 24, 19, 14 and 28. We've won three of our four by double digits, but with far less emphasis.
6, 8 and 10 from Cornish. How about that line? When was the last time we had somebody dish out 10 assists? Hint: it wasn't Woodhouse, Puriefoy or Brenton.
Still no Ochefu. It seems it's on merit.
Horrible loss for UA down at UMBC.
