Big game for the Seawolves in that it's the first America East game of the season.  New Hampshire is probably the 5th best team in the conference, so a win on Saturday would be a nice way to separate ourselves from the bottom feeders and at least have 1 home game during the conference tournament. By the way, the only regular season game that I missed last season was against New Hampshire, so I'm definitely not missing this one.  By the way, I have an extra ticket for this game - 3rd row behind the visiting bench and on the aisle near mid-court.  I can't be any happier with my seats this season!

Lastly, the women play before the men at noon - the ticket that day is good for both games.

while its disappointing to upset washington and then have trouble with UNH, we did something similar- we played good bball down the stretch (8min left) and won the game in those waning minutes.  every time we opened up a small lead, UNH came back.  around 7min left we hit our FTs and put the game away.

in the first half it was alternating streaks of patient ball control and then forced shots.  good effort today.  anyone wondering why puriefoy isnt as present in the first half?  mcgrew had a big day.  i like the potential on sturdy.

a good conference win.  UNH continually doubled warney in the low post and he moved the ball well.  mitchell is scrappy and plays intense defense.  good crowd considering the weather and time of year.

i would say tre forces the ball too much to the hoop, but if he's gonna shoot 10/11 from the stripe, go to the bucket all day.

warney under the boards is a monster.  whether its rebounds or sky hooks.  cant leave him 1v1.

still undefeated at home, although the ladies lost the first game at IFCU.

Purefoy had 2 quick fouls, which warranted not playing the last 11 minutes of the first half.

Great to see McGrew developing into a consistent 3rd offensive threat and near-equal to Warney on the boards. Also, agreed that Mitchell is playing well--solid perimeter defense, moving/passing well, and making better decisions on when to take (and knock down) the 3s.

Still plenty of ups/downs as expected with the frosh class, and while today was a mostly uninspiring win save for the blast at the end you have to like what you see from this group over the last few games. Not sure what to expect from the game at Columbia, but the UVM game will be a great test up at their place.

I'm glad that the Seawolves followed their big win of U.W with a solid (?!) win to open the conference season. Lets keep this going. Should be fun to watch as the Seawolves continue to develop.

Im planning to attend the Columbia so I hope to see some of you there! Go Seawolves
