4man is 1/9 shooting threes (last one aired out).  shall he stop now?

David Duke singlehandedly saving Providence. I don’t know how we can’t stop him

Tough game for Makale and Latimer. Gutty 2nd half finish though. Elijah put team on his back. High TO count hurt too. Still a 4-pt loss on the road impressive, especially after a horrendous 1st half.

Latimer on Duke was s mistake. Late switch to Elijah on him was too late. Duke had himself a game.

good effort tonight- PC was the better team.  was it me or did they hit 100% of the FTs in the last few minutes???  pipkins was 10/10!

PC is good.  they play a tough schedule, they grab lots of O-boards, hit FTs.  their press worked.  and we got into moderate foul trouble.

ill repeat what i recently wrote- garcia is the calming presence on this team.  he might be our MVP or at least unsung hero.  we need him to initiate more, i think.

Pipkins certainly helped ice the game for sure.  PC is very athletic.  Our high TO total hurt us, but love the way we fought to the end.  I think Elijah, Garcia, and Foreman (aka 4man) are our top 3 guns.  Elijah has really improved his shooting over last year, but still takes a few out-of-rhythm 3's that make you cringe.  Foreman has had 2 bad shooting nights in a row, including a couple of bad 3's tonight.  IMO, I give any of them the green light on shooting 3's, but they need to be a bit more prudent on choice of shots at times.  Also, 33% shooting from 3 is equivalent to 50% from 2, and we shot 35.5% from 3 tonight, so as a team we did pretty good.  Garcia is a complete player - really good on the inside, good rebounder, good defender, and all-around junk yard dog.  He has a propensity to get into foul trouble though, largely due to his intense play.  He continues to get better, and is definitely a leader on this team.

I can't help being super impressed and proud of the Seawolves' gutsy display of resilience and relentlessness over these last two games.  They never give up, and they should be applauded for it!!

That said, the goal is winning, and I'm convinced they were only two or three turnovers away from doing so in both the Hofstra and Providence games.  Inability to deal with the press and the tendancy to get sped up by the other team are clearly the main reasons for the huge number of turnovers recently and must be controlled.  I hope Coach and his staff drill, drill and drill some more over the coming weeks to correct those shortcomings.  If they are successful at doing that, I believe the sky's the limit for this team.  Ya gotta love 'em!!

Missed this one also – just too much going on.

Pretty good that we stayed with a team that was behind only Seton Hall, Villanova and Xavier in the Big East preseason poll.

Yup, totally agree!! Clean up the turnovers and this team has huge potential.
