Game 15- SBU @ Columbia
« on: January 06, 2014, 10:22:22 am »
On to Columbia Wednesday to finish off OOC play.  This is certainly going to be no walk in the park!!  Columbia beat St. Francis by 20 (remember, St. F. beat SBU at Pritchard!!).  They are also tucked in right behind Harvard and Princeton (two pretty good teams by anyone's standards) in the Ivy standings.  What's more, although they lost, the Lions gave St. John's, Manhattan and Michigan State all they could handle!!

I'd like to see the Seawolves come away with the victory.  Losing the last two OOC games prior to conference play would be a real downer.  But, SBU is really going to have to be at the top of its game to get this one.  I hope they are, because it would be a great confidence boost to start AE conference play with 10 OOC victories under their belt.

Its been dead around here lately to be honest. I think the fan base is a bit disappointed. But I'll be watching closely tonight. Hopefully i can make it to the game. I know Columbia is not gonna be an easy match up but it would be great to finish the OOC with a win, or at least to show progress that gets us excited for the rest of the season.

It's dead around here because these non-conference games are basically exhibition games for the Brook.

Just dropped two in row. Our lack  depth off the  bench took is toll.   9-6  going into conference play.

the OOC is too painful to watch. bring me the AE where I can be happy about winning games. Even if its against the worst teams in the country. Winning makes u feel good, Losing to the Columbia doesnt.
