March 12, 2011 - Lost in America East Championship at Boston University 56-54 after being up 15 in second half
March 10, 2012 - Lost in America East championship at home to Vermont 51-43
March 15, 2014 - Lost in America East Championship at home to Albany 69-60 up by 6 with 6 mins to go
March 14, 2015 - Lost in America East Championship at Albany 51-50  we were up 2 with 1.6 seconds to go and lead the final 22 minutes of the game except for that 1.6 seconds

We are sooooooo getting ahead of ourselves with seed speculation.

I can't stand it!

Can we win the frigging AE first?!?!?!?!!

Forrest Gump, "I'm sorry I ruined your Black Panther party."

Forgive my crankiness.  I do hope we get a good seed when we win the AE Tournament.  I've sat live at every single one of those Championship games and it brings back bad memories.

We all know it is crunch time. We need 1 win in the next 3 games and then  sweep the AE Tournament . Not an easy task for us .

This is the bad for the mojo. Stony Brook just needs to keep winning. Bracketology is only relevant when you have a shot for an at-large... otherwise... you gotta win the AE and get in. Forget the seeding. All we want is TO BE THERE!

As you can count me among the skeptics at this point, this is a half-hearted post about predicted brackets from people of unknown qualifications.
So mainly for your amusement: http://www.bracketmatrix.com/

We were pretty much a certain 13 a few weeks ago but you see some 14s and even a couple 15s. There are also a couple 12s still.

Still hopeful.

I hope we get a 12 (realistic, according to predictions), I think we get a 13 (most likely), and if we're a 15, I'm pissed. (But not likely: Our RPI is 59, which is better than SF Austin, No Iowa, Iona, Hawaii, etc).

It's my (and our) first time caring about Selection Sunday. Am I doing this right?

Also, I think we're clear, but there's no way I want to play West Virginia and their press and Purdue might be too big. Everyone else, bring 'em on.

Is that a good match up? When I think Kentucky I think McDonald's all Americans and lottery picks.

To be the best you gotta beat the best

Kentucky has got athletic freaks all over the court. Underdogs win by playing good team hoops. Stick to our gameplan and get their freshmen frustrated. We need to rebound well and move the ball around to succeed.

Warney will have to earn his keep- a good game will do a lot for his professional career.

Anyway, can't wait. Hope for a later game so I can get to the game easier after work.
