2022 Recruiting
« on: April 05, 2021, 12:27:25 pm »
Just starting this up!

Do teams recruit high school guys anymore, or does everybody just grab transfers from here, there and everywhere?

This is a potentially huge class for us if Gueye, Habwe, Sayles, Mac and Christie stay, and with Olaniyi coming off the books.

I have a feeling that this kid isn't going to make it to us. Highlights can be deceiving, but he looks really good.

His brother's a wide receiver at Michigan BTW.

Junior point guard Jayden Pierre already is being heavily recruited by Stanford and Buck said "when we get back to a normal season next year, he is going to be an integral part." He is likely to be joined in that upcoming backcourt by sophomore Jayden Reid, who already is drawing interest from Stony Brook.

Ya, that's GF trying to get in early on a kid who will definitely end up somewhere better. Also, a funny gesture to his former boss, as you alluded to. I imagine he'll play for pops, or a better program come Fall '24.... Boy has he grown over the last few years. 6'3', holy ****.

How old a Seawolf am I? I followed them during their Final 4 DIII hoops run in 1977-78 (they were called the Patriots then)

Most likely. There’s no chance we get him... or any top 100 Recruits  ;D
I will take the publicity even if it comes with some mockery!
