Some nice schedules with some pretty good teams.   I think everyone in the AE plays at least 1 sub D1 team .

I love having the Wolfie logo on everything and the subtle Long Island branding adds a nice touch! Huge fan.

SBU 1-0 on European Trip.  Report from yesterday:

Today was also our first game day as we took on a Mataró Select team that was hungry for a win after losing last night. Rising junior Elijah Olaniyi (Newark, N.J.) had other ideas, as he led us with 19 points and 13 rebounds as we won the contest 80-67. Rising sophomore Miles Latimer (Fairfax, Va.) had a trio of triples en route to 11 points and rising junior Mouhamadou Gueye (Staten Island, N.Y.) was the final Seawolves player in double figures with 10. Latimer's classmate, Jeff Otchere (Bronx, N.Y.) had 10 rebounds to go along with eight points. After a lift session in the morning, we say "Adios" to Barcelona and head south to Valencia for stop two of our trip.

That was fun to watch . The Spanish team did not have an answer to that line up.

Geno Ford to Jeff Goodman about our Euro trip:

Standout(s):

Game 1: Elijah Olaniyi

Game 2: Makale Foreman, Olaniyi, Miles Latimer

Game 3: Frankie Policelli, Andrew Garcia, Jeff Otchere

Surprise: “Willingness to make plays for others was much improved.”

Learned: “We have quality depth at several positions.”

Concern: “We have no seniors so not overly experienced which will force the new guys to consistently contribute.”

Anyone have a scoop on whether Policelli got a waiver or not to play this upcoming season?  I came up empty on Twitter.

Both Athlon and Street & Smith's picked Stony Brook to finish fourth, behind Vermont (obviously), Albany and UMBC.

That's some meaty bulletin board fodder for the team.

With Hartford graduating their starters, picking the these Top 4 is a no-brainer.  It's too early to pick the ordering of them though, IMO.

Add CBB Central to the list who have us fourth. They have Olaniyi as an all-conference first teamer.

FYI, no word yet on whether or not Policelli will be eligible this season.
