I don’t know much about the mental makeup of the incoming talent, but I do worry about physicality and grit. Cornish and Yeboah were tremendous competitors, and Moor provided physicality and energy off the bench. Long was a nuisance defensively. They all competed, and I think we are going to miss the group as a whole on the glass - even Cornish. Theyre replaced with kids - and I’m sure they’re all good! - but are they ready to get after it? Vermont will be huge again, same with Albany, UMBC has a lot of experience. Will this roster, with all these fresh faces and young bodies, be ready to defend, get on the floor, get on the boards and battle?
Down one, 10 seconds left, who gets the ball? Who wants the ball?
