Thrower not coming back was a no-brainer. If the accusations were true (which they seemed like), I wouldn't want him back. He wasn't a critical piece to this team anyway.

I can't wait for this season- if our JuCo imports are decent, we could have a fun season.

Video on him. I like what I see. Reading good thing about the kid's motor, and I like how you see hustle plays on his highlight reel.

I would be really shocked if he signs a NLI.. Elijah looks like he could be playing in a better conference then the AE.. If Boals actually holds this kid to SB, then I think we have a winner coach on our hands!

Twitter is saying that coach Weber was the point on recruiting Olaniyi. I like that he was one of first kids the new staff offered. Seems like we got one they wanted.

wow, I like it.  you can never tell with HS highlight videos, but it looks like he's got an outside shot.  which makes me think at 6'4'' he's a HS small forward; but at SB, possibly a shooting guard, possibly a 3?

In Elijah's Instagram post when he stated he was going to SBU, he especially thanked for the coaching staff at NJIT. It sounds like it was between us two.

It's really hard to tell from video what he's going to do here, but it looks like he's willing to get after it and get his hands dirty. Not all dunks, not all one-on-one, not all jumpers ... just a kid who wants to play basketball. Good quotes here: http://hoopgroup.com/tournaments/high-school-showcase-2/elijah-olaniyi-looks-to-bring-attention-to-newark-east-side/

Corry Long, 6-2/160, PG, Cincinnati, OH has verbally committed to Stony Brook!

I like the Ohio connection. I'm sure Boals saw him plenty over the years.

According to VerbalCommits, we beat out Bethune-Cookman and Ball State.

Great! More highlights from him here : http://www.hudl.com/video/3/4997262/5721c660b019261f80c5eff4

Looks like he missed most of his junior year with a wrist injury. https://twitter.com/Corey_Albertson/status/698302004104470529

Anyway I really like what I see. Now lets get a big!

I just saw that Muszynski has committed to Belmont!!  All I can say is why??  I can't imagine what advantage they would have over SBU.  If anybody has a clue, please fill me in.
