That makes it easier. Thought I would be shooting from football to basketball all in one day.

The date of the Maryland game at the Coliseum has been moved from November 11th (Saturday) to November 10th (Friday).

Are you going???  Friday Basketball, Saturday Football.
Most likely attending the game at the Coliseum. I will probably buy the tickets from a scalper at the Coliseum for at least 50% off the face.

Do you think there will actually be scalpers selling tickets at this game????

There are 29,413,039 corporations in America; but only one Chairman of the Board.

There are scalpers at every event at the Coliseum.

ANOTHER big one:

Add Michigan State! Assuming UConn is indeed confirmed, that makes FIVE high-major opponents next season.

This is  by far our toughest schedule ever . Assumimg Boals keeps scheduling like this we hopefully can land a few a high recruits . I don't expect us to win these  with maybe the exception of UConn  but it should be fun.

Michigan State too!?!? This is excellent!! I'm so glad we're really moving full steam ahead on getting these tougher games even if they're mostly on the road (for now). We should be playing a couple B1G, Big East, and AAC teams every year minimum along with Hofstra. This is as good of an OOC schedule as you can expect from us. We're likely going to need to win the AE to make the NCAAT (unless we win all these games) so we lose nothing by scheduling aggressively like this. It makes the case for at-large inclusion that much easier if we ever got to that point. Providence, Maryland, Michigan State, and Uconn? Those are all perennial tournament teams give or take a year or to here or there. Excellent gets all around. I hope we can keep these kinds of games up in the future.

Pleasantly surprised and excited with Boals' scheduling. Dare I say we go .500 in non-conference schedule? Even .400 will be a success. Schedule like this should also help attract mid-major talents in recruiting front.

As long as coach Boals stays here, we will.. I am very happy so far with the SH hiring of coach Boals.. I remember when Boals was first hired there were some people moaning and groaning about SH making a poor choice, well. So far I am very happy with with both SH and Boals performance with this program, and football too.

D1 Docket has us playing two neutral site games in Nashville as part of the PK-80 event. Doesn't seem right but we'll see if that's accurate – UNH is just a column over and is playing there.

What a gauntlet. Love it though.

Schedules like this help with recruiting and build our RPI. It also gets our guys ready for conference play for sure.  It doesn't hurt to face these teams and spread the brand nationally.

Indeed. Our schedules should be as tough as possible. We really lose nothing from doing this and I love it. It's a no lose situation. Even if we dropped every single game on here (I think we'll win at least one) we'd just have to win the AE to make the tournament just like we had to when we're playing Nobody State, Nobody A&M, and Nobody Tech out of conference.

Two more 20+ win teams added: Bucknell (NCAA) at home and Ball State (CIT) on the road.

Gotta be among the toughest non-conference slates among mid-majors.

I have been following this program since the pre Pickell era and this is our toughest non schedule yet . Usually we  only play two  power teams a season  but we are loaded this year .  This is good for recruiting going forward and spreads  the brand of SBU around the country . Hey we win one or go into OT with somebody important  that goes along way.
