I wonder if/suspect Alonzo Campbell might be doing a prep year after missing his senior season with the broken ankle  making him a 16 recruit

Good question. Either way, Coach P have better use his best car salesman pitch to get this kid.. He could be our Warney replacement.

The latest info I saw is that Campbell has narrowed his choices to either Kennesaw St. or Stony Brook.  I say that's no contest!!  If the kid is as smart as we hope he's talented, SBU is the clear choice, don't ya think?

Andrew Garcia from the Masters School in Ct committed to SBU according to Adam Finkelstein. Anyone know anything about him?

I think our Andrew Garcia is a 6'5" forward.

I've read that Elijah Pemberton from Yonkers, NY and Cheshire Academy is coming to the area this weekend to make an official visit to Hofstra.  He's an excellent recruit, and one that SBU has had an offer out to since July.  Wouldn't you think that knowing he was going to be on Long Island, Coach Pikiell and his staff would lean on him to at least have him in for a visit (official or not)?  I would think that the Seawolves' program would match up very favorably to Hofstra's at this point.

I think if Jameel Warney improves on his foul shots he has a legitimate chance of making the NBA

Rojaye Campbell would be a good get out of LuHi. Big 6-foot-9 kid, three star kid per Rivals. According to a Hoop Group tweet that Rojaye retweeted, he has received "offers from Towson, Stony Brook, George Mason, Fairfield, Seton Hall, interest from many high majors." Not a 25 a night type but would he's the kind of size we'll need with Warney and McGrew gone.

Now this is exactly what coach P and staff needs to nail down year after year. It's not an easy thing to do for a low mid major school, but this will separate SB from the rest of the AE if it happens.. Find another Warney and we are golden for 4 more years!!!
