Well that's definitely an impact recruit everyone was looking for.

ha, yes it is.

pikiell is in the odd situation of having to convince a recruit twice.  or maybe on the second time, he didn't have to!

the nice thing is that he is not an unknown quantity nor a work in progress.  no waiting to see if he is a bust.  he's an impact player.  in fact he might even be improved.

this really changes the look of the lineup.  where does he fit in?  im assuming he stays in that sort-of-3 slot that he plays?  he's a little short to play power forward, but has that style of play and could be a valuable swingman.

early prediction is warney and mcgrew in the post, tre and woodhouse/thrower up top, maybe walker/nyama in the mix?
There are 29,413,039 corporations in America; but only one Chairman of the Board.

The only down side i remember of Walker was sometimes his wildness on the floor and his free throws were only 57%. The craziness at times is something that can be fixed fairly easily, but improving at the foul line takes a lot more practise.. All in all, this is a plus for SBB come next season!!!!!

Walker shot over 40% from the field as a freshmen, and has probably gotten better. I'd have to agree with the consensus and say this is a big addition.

My two cents for the starting lineup next year- Warney, McGrew, Nyama, Mitchell and Woodhouse (personally I like Tres off the bench- though Coach P will likely start his senior and captain), with Tres and Walker providing meaningful minutes. Add in Thrower and Sekunda (Petrus?) and you're looking at a pretty deep team that could beat you from the inside and also run teams from the AE off the court.

Hammer - Walker didn't leave the team, but was actually kicked off the team for failing at least two drugs tests for pot.

Lax, smoking weed is a violation in the Penal code. Being thrown off the team for that is petty. . I rather see that than steroids! !. I don't condemn the boy for that!!

Also mentioned on the AE board yesterday

"Something from the other SBU's message board (Bonnies).

I heard Ogunyemi to Stony Brook but that was before his visit. Hopefully coach and staff made a good impressio.

Would love to bring in Ogunyemi. Have him work with Warney while he redshirts next year, and give us a proven commodity the following year after Warney graduates.

Hope it happens.

Since you mentioned it, here's a look from his previous team, etc. last September.  Since then he's been racking up even better stats.

[/quote] Thanks Gold for the find.. Well, Looks like he can shoot the 3 ball.. I also like how feisty he is under the rim. He has some really nice moves and looks pretty good on D.. I wonder if Coach P is going to Redshirt him or is he an impact player. Probably will be redshirted because of Walker coming back to play!!

Yeboah reminds me of Kam Mitchell, a 6'5" guard with a nice outside shot but only so-so ball handling ability. If he can knock down the three, I say bring him in next year. If I were Coach P I'd go all in to try to win the AE tourney while I still had Warney.
