Not hearing good things re: the performance at the scrimmage, though.

Here's the latest to weigh in listing Hartford as the favorite:

http://www.midmajormadness.com/2014/11/11/7163217/2014-2015-ncaa-college-basketball-america-east-conference-preview
The article stated Rolan Nyama is still out. I wonder if he's playing Friday, opening day. Roland hasn't practise in a long while which makes me believe his injury is more serious than coach P makes it!!!!!

Every recent interview I've heard with Pikell says everyone is healthy and ready to go except minor injuries. The way it sounded was it was as if tomorrow were the championship game everyone could play.

Columbia will be a good test even without Rosenberg. Need a win before we travel down to Georgia.

Is anyone heading over to Hofstra tomorrow night?  Haven't heard much hype about it.  Thought I'd be hearing more, considering how great it should be to renew this rivalry!!

I won't be able to make every home game, so if anyone is interested in purchasing my 2 tickets in Section 103, Row C, Seats 1 and 2 (near half-court) LMK - these tickets have a face value of $22 each (24 each on game day), but will sell for $17 each or best offer.  Also, I might need 4 tickets for weekend games including the game on 11/29.

Yes, I know USMMA was overmatched from the start.  But, having said that, they do have a couple of real good outside shooters on that team!!

The real takeaways for me on that game were that Sekunda's 3-point shot is definitely for real and the Seawolves may have another real talent in Tyrell Sturdivant!!  He posted a double double and certainly looked good doing it, as he was amazing on the O-Reb.side of the equation.  With a little more time in the weight room he's going to be a beast!!

I ditto that Gold.... With a little more time Sturdivant will be great. Sekunda is pretty much automatic on the 3 ball and Thrower this time next year will be another Purifoy... Scott King and Mitchell really needs to sit the season out... I still cant quite understand why Coach P is using him in as a starter. He's terrible on D and has shows no confidence with his 3 ball... He makes no attempt to drive to the basket either.

Playing a div2 school shows off your bench guys and i really like what I see in the future, tonight!

Fun game to watch today. Warney was a man among boys, some of his blocks were just mean. I still like Mitchell off the bench as an outside shooter- he'll fill a nice role for us. McGrew is really maturing into a nice player- if he starts hitting that mid-range jumper he's gonna be hard to defend. Nice to see the depth of our team though.

LOVE our freshman class

Sekunda- as good a shooter as we've had, he's got a beautiful stroke.
Thrower- very good ballhandler, physical to the hoop and a good shot
Sturdivant- needs to put on muscle (who doesn't?) but he's a good athlete, proud of his double-double today
Petrus- moves pretty well for a big guy, you don't usually recruit bigs who can move like he can in the America East

Don't forget we'll have Lucas Woodhouse next year who will be the first true PG we've had in a while.

I was saddened to see there were no Alley-oops, what happened to the days of 'Ole?

Our new guys  gained a lot of confidence today which what they may have needed.  They were very tentative against Hofstra  but they showed their talent today.  Sugunda is the real deal from outside hitting for 15 points, Thrower  can score inside outside and is deadly on the FT stripe  don't foul him or you will pay.  Strudevant is a pure forward   I expect to see many double doubles from over the next  four years Now to get ready for WKU on Tuesday  that should  be another good test. This team has a great future everyone is back and we add Woodhouse next season.
